The statement I get most from people is: "I need to lose weight and get in shape, but I have no idea where to start." My first question to that statement is: "What do you eat?" And my second question is, "Are you doing any type of exercise?"

I'll address the exercise portion of those 2 questions in this article.

Bottom line is, you need to burn calories. Many adults have sedentary jobs and rarely get up from their desks and move around. Then they come home and either sit more or if they have children, sit in the car and drive their children wherever they need to go.

The Showtime Met-Con Bootcamp is designed to fight against this sedentary lifestyle.

First, let me explain what Met-Con is. Met-Con is short for metabolic conditioning. Metabolic conditioning is a form of training that involves  high intensity work with little rest between sets.
This type of workout burns calories in abundance and is sure to make you feel like you put in work.

A typical Met-Con day would look like this:
Warm-up
Speed, agility, and quickness
Circuit 1 (2 contrasting movements and an ab exercise)
Circuit 2 (2 contrasting movements and an ab exercise
Conditioning

You do NOT need to have experience lifting weights to start our Met-Con Bootcamp. Even though the workouts are in a group setting, we will tailor the workouts according to your fitness level.

So if you're at a sedentary job and are looking for a change, or you just want to feel better about yourself. Showtime Met-Con Bootcamp is an excellent place to start.
